Painting and drawing in Southern France with Eva Lensink
Are you looking for an inspiring painting course in the South of France, and would you also like to enjoy the sunny south, be spoiled with culinary delights and relax yourself?
From 6 to 13 June 2020 there will be a spring painting course. The experienced and enthusiastic painter from Maastricht, the Netherlands, Eva Lensink will come to the Mas Blanc especially for you that week.
Programme
You arrive on Saturday, and you get to know felow students during a welcome drink, offerd by the Mas Blanc. The course starts on Sunday. We will be busy drawing, painting and / or photographing for five days. You can work freely or on the basis of assignments. During the week various surprising techniques will be offered. During the mornings there is lesson / guidance; during the afternoons you can continue working, or opt for a dip in the pool, a walk or a siesta.
At the end of every afternoon there is a joint work meeting. On Tuesday you can choose an excursion to Nîmes, or for example visit the local market in Saint Ambroix. On Friday afternoon the week will be concluded with a festive vernissage.
Because of the personal guidance, and by the way the week is designed, the courses are suitable for both less experienced and advanced students. Practice has shown that the participants in the painting week always end up with surprising results.

The cost of the June course: € 235 per person per week.
These amounts do not include material, accommodation, food and drinks.

Experiences of other students
“Fantastic week. Fine group and fine teacher provided a pleasant and inspiring atmosphere. Beautiful place too! “

A week of painting at the Mas Blanc, what an experience ! The location is alraedy worth the ride. We stayed between cool thick walls, we ate personally announced meals with a lot of regional products. Of course we also drank a few glasses of exquisite wine, but the real reason for our stay was the painting course to advance our skills and to get inspired. Such a course stands or falls with the click you have with the teacher and we can not imagine anyone better than Eva: competent, patient and (very important for amateurs) supportive ! But perhaps most importantly, a teacher who has the ability to subtly forge the participants into a real group. And … what a nice person !!!! We regularly talk about our holiday that was completely different from everything we did before. Next year again?

Our stay at the Mas Blanc has exceeded our expectations by far. We looked forward to this stay a long time in advance, a stay in a former monastery, on top of a mountain. These expectations have been fully met. The beautiful surroundings, tranquility, and conviviality of the group were fantastic. That my try-out painting lesson culminated in a full week of painting says enough. And also the cooking workshop with Edgar was a very special experience. This is worth repeating.
